The Goose Creek United U12 Spirit clinched a second-place finish in its league standings with a 6-1 win over the James Island Black Sunday.
The Spirit finished the fall season with a 7-2 mark.
“I am proud of each and every child on the team,” Spirit coach Steve Evans said. “They always tried hard and improved both individually and as a team. Every player on the team either scored a goal or had an assist in scoring a goal, which really highlights the potential of this team.
“We worked hard towards winning the championship but had a little bad luck along the way. We are really looking forward to next season as the whole team will still be able to play together.”
In the final game, forward Fernando De La Cruz and mid-fielder Eddie Leitgeb scored two goals apiece, while Omar Miramontes and Aaron Evans added one goal each.
Miramontes, Ricky Garcia, Chloe Lyons and Carlos Cobena assisted on goals in the win.
