Omar Miramontes, Fernando DeLaCruz and Ricky Garcia each scored a goal as the Goose Creek United Spirit (Under-12) knocked off a Mt. Pleasant squad 3-1 Sunday.
Aaron Evans and Garcia also had assists. The Spirit led 2-0 at the half and Garcia’s second-half goal answered Mt. Pleasant’s lone score.

The Spirit was rained out a day earlier against Summerville. They host James Island this Saturday at 3 p.m.
