The event will feature musical group “The Fabulous Kays,” food vendors and a jump castle.
A fireworks display will begin at 9 p.m. Admission is free.
Parking at the Municipal Center is limited, so guests are encouraged to arrive early and carpool. Off-site parking will be available at the Casey Community Center on Old Moncks Corner Road.
A free shuttle will be available to ferry passengers from the Casey center to the Municipal Center from 6 – 10 p.m.
No alcohol, pets or outside fireworks are permitted. Tailgating is not permitted in the parking area.
The event was moved to the Municipal Center site in 2008 when construction at the Westview school grounds reduced the amount of available open space. This made it unsafe to hold a fireworks display at that location.
Goose Creek Police are urging citizens to exercise safety over the July 4 weekend. Please ensure that children are supervised at all times.
Additional sponsors for the festival are The City of Goose Creek, Berkeley Electric Cooperative, Stephen Huch, DMD, and Postal Pal. For more information on the Fabulous Fourth in the Creek Festival call the Goose Creek Community Center at 569-4242 or visit goosecreekrecreation.com.
