The 16th Annual Relay For Life for Lower Berkeley County will be held on May 14 at Goose Creek High School and the entire community is invited to attend.
The event will include many games, cake and ice cream.
For those interested in sponsoring a team at the Relay, a team captains’ meeting will be held March 18 at 7 p.m. at the Casey Community Center. Information will be distributed about how to plan a team, how to fundraise and all the necessary steps for becoming a successful Relay team.
This year event organizer, Laura Turok-Ellis, said that the goal for Lower Berkeley County is to get 100 percent participation at Relay from every school in Berkeley County.
