BCSO Deputy Steve Beane was terminated from BCSO following a suspension and an internal investigation, according to DeWitt.
On Nov. 5, a complaint was made concerning an alleged assault that occurred on Nov. 4 at Beane’s residence.
Upon conclusion of the internal investigation it was determined that criminal laws had been violated. SLED was requested to conduct an investigation.
Beane had a bond hearing with a charge set at $5,242.50. He is currently out on bond, according to a Hill-Finklea Detention Center official.
Beane had been employed by the BCSO since August 2007.
