Kizer, Holly to wed in September

Mr. Thurman Kizer of Charleston and Mrs. Michelle and Mr. Ronnie Parker of Dorchester are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Summer Kizer, to David Craig Holly II, son of Mr. David and Mrs. Jeanette Holly of Goose Creek.

Meagan is a 2006 graduate of Dorchester Academy and is currently enrolled at Trident Technical College. She plans to pursue a degree in radiology and is a stay at home mom to the couple’s son Ladson Connor Holly.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Willie P. and Vernetta Kizer of Rosinville, S.C. and the late O’Brien Summers of Dorchester and Claudette Summers of Harleyville, S.C.

The groom-elect graduated from Stratford High School in 2003 and is currently employed at Charleston Rubber and Gasket as a gasket designer in Hanahan.

He is the grandson of Cecil and the late Norma Holly and Walker and Patricia Mazzell, all of Charleston.

Meagan and Craig will exchange vows during an intimate ceremony on Sept. 19, 2009 at Limestone Baptist Church. A reception will follow at Givhans State Park.
