The two candidates vying for Berkeley County school board’s District 2 seat will discuss issues with voters Wednesday, Sept. 17.
The Goose Creek Gazette’s Conversation with the Candidates is an informal conversation between voters and candidates, moderated by political and education reporter Lindsay Street.
This political season’s series will spotlight the contested races for the school board: District 2, District 4 and District 6.
The Sept. 17 event begins at 4:45 p.m. and ends at 6:45 p.m. The free event will be held at the Berkeley County Public Library in Hanahan, at 1216 Old Murray Court. Light refreshments will be available.
District 2’s candidates are Rindy Ryan and Mac McQuillin. Each candidate will have an hour to talk with voters. Ryan will be featured first in the order.
District 2 includes Hanahan, Daniel Island and some Goose Creek schools.
