Goose Creek judge sworn in

Newly appointed Goose Creek municipal judge William Daniel “Danny” Wilson Jr. took the oath of office Tuesday, Aug. 26, in the council chambers of the Marguerite H. Brown Municipal Center, according to city spokesperson Jesica Mackey. Mayor Michael Heitzler administered the oath.

Judge Wilson was selected by council to fill the vacated seat of Dale Van Slambrook, who was promoted to Master in Equity judge for the Ninth Judicial Circuit.

Wilson is a Goose Creek resident and is currently employed as an attorney with Wilson Law Office.
