Centura College is hosting a Back to School Open House on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at its campus at 8084 Rivers Avenue in North Charleston. The event is free and open to the public from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
While at the campus, guests are invited to take a tour and talk with faculty and admissions representatives about the benefits of career-focused training in the healthcare fields Centura College offers. Guests will have the chance to meet with Centura’s career advisor to learn about the career placement assistance every student and graduate has access to and meet with the financial aid advisor to talk about the many options that are available to fund a college education.
There will also be fun activities throughout the afternoon for everyone, including games and prizes, and karaoke. Attendees can also take advantage of free blood pressure checks and health screenings.
Centura College offers hands-on training for entry level positions in medical assisting and medical billing and coding. Some current students will also be on hand throughout the day to talk with visitors and give demonstrations of what they are learning
