Fifth graders at Marrington Elementary School are participating in a special program called High 5 Friday.
Each week, students are recognized for their positive behavior, good choices and demonstrating the “7 Habits of Highly Effective People.” The motivational program additionally celebrates the attainment of weekly goals in academic classes.
As part of the fun, students participate in a sing-a-long led by school counselor Ann Schuler that reflects the character words, positive virtues and the 7 Habits that they have learned in classroom guidance.
