School enjoys ‘High 5 Friday’

Fifth graders at Marrington Elementary School are participating in a special program called High 5 Friday.

Each week, students are recognized for their positive behavior, good choices and demonstrating the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. The motivational program additionally celebrates the attainment of weekly goals in academic classes.

As part of the fun, students participate in a sing-a-long led by school counselor Ann Schuler that reflects the character words, positive virtues and the 7 Habits that they have learned in classroom guidance.
