Goose Creek police stopped a 1997 Honda Accord just after 7 p.m. for improperly displaying a car dealer tag, according to a police report. A strong odor of marijuana prompted the officer to search the occupants and vehicle, where approximately 1.6 grams of white powder that was confirmed later as cocaine was found.

The two men, one from Goose Creek and the other from Pineville, were taken into custody and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
