College of Charleston Athletics will host a pair of promotional collaborations with local professional sports teams coming this August.

On Aug. 15, the College of Charleston will host “CofC Night with the Charleston Battery,” while on Aug. 28 it will be “CofC Night at the Joe” with the Charleston RiverDogs.

Playing at beautiful Blackbaud Stadium on Daniel Island, the Battery are one of the premier minor league soccer teams in the USL Pro Division. Fans will get the opportunity to meet with members of the CofC soccer teams including head coaches Ralph Lundy and Christian Michner. Former Cougar men's soccer player Shawn Ferguson is currently a member of the Battery.

Two weeks later, CofC fans are invited to come to beautiful Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Ballpark (“The Joe”) on the banks of the Ashley River for a night with the Charleston RiverDogs. This marks the second consecutive year that Charleston Athletics and the RiverDogs have teamed up.

The Cougar baseball team will be honored for their remarkable run to the NCAA Super Regional round and final year-end ranking of 16th, the highest final ranking of any college baseball team in South Carolina in 2014.

Tickets are available for both events at a special discount price for Cougar fans. Tickets are $5 for the Battery by clicking here and entering promo code: Cougar. Tickets are $7 for the RiverDogs by clicking here and entering the password: CofC2014.
