Goose Creek Mayor Michael Heitzler has signed a proclamation declaring Aug. 10-16 as “Knights of Columbus Family Week” in the City of Goose Creek.

Heitzler met with representatives of the Goose Creek Knights of Columbus to sign the proclamation.

During this week, Knights of Columbus members will commemorate both the birth and death of their founder, Blessed Father Michael J. McGivney and recommit themselves to the ideals that provide opportunities for families.
