Goose Creek to host swim meet

The City of Goose Creek and Stratford High School Swimming Team are hosting the Coastal Carolina Aquatic Associationís 2014 City Championship Swim Meet on July 18, 19 and 20 at the Goose Creek Community Pool (Crowfield Golf Club) located at 300 Hamlet Circle.

Twenty-two teams from all over the Lowcountry, including the hometown Crowfield Killerwaves, will compete for the City Meet Title.†

Competition will begin Friday, July 18 at 5:30 pm..† Each session will include the mixed medley relays, individual medley relays and freestyle relays.†

Parking will be located at Stratford High School and will cost $5/car.† Shuttle busses will transport spectators from the parking lot to and from the pool.†

No parking will be allowed at Crowfield Golf Club or along Hamlet Circle.†Bleacher seating and standing room only areas will be available for spectators around the pool.†

Tailgating chairs are not allowed at or around the pool.†Concessions will be available.

This yearís meet is sponsored by Bar-B-Que Barn, Kona Ice, the City of Charleston Southern Marlins Racing Team, KIDS FIRST Swim Schools, LTP Racing Club, Mount Pleasant Swim Club, and Sports Plus and Goose Creek Physical Therapy.
