Beckley

Berkeley County businessman Jerry Beckley will sit down with voters and the Gazette 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, at the Corner Café on Main Street in Moncks Corner for casual conversation and coffee.

It’s the last in a series featuring the county supervisor candidates leading up to the June Republican primary. Moncks Corner Mayor Bill Peagler kicked off the event May 14. Incumbent Supervisor Dan Davis will attend the May 21 event.

Moderated by Gazette reporter Lindsay Street, Coffee with the Candidates is a free event intended to let candidates and voters get to know each other — no stump speeches or canned questions. For more information, contact Lindsay Street, lstreet@berkeleyind.com or 843-727-5647.
