The South Carolina Federation of Republican Women descended on the State Capitol on May 7 while the Legislature was in session, and painted the House and Senate Chambers red.

Republican women from across the state were welcomed and recognized by their Legislative Representatives.

There was a breakfast and lunch with candidates for Government Office, a tour of the Capitol, a day watching the Legislature in Session, a Southern Tea at the Lace House with Governor Haley, and the official group photograph on the Capitol steps with South Carolina Treasurer, Curtis Loftis.

Local attendees called the event a very interesting, informative, and fun day.
