The Berkeley County Republican Women recently held their annual Membership Tea at the historic Moncks Corner Train Depot.
Many elected officials attended the event including Sen. Paul Campbell, County Supervisor Dan Davis, Clerk of Court Mary Brown, Register of Deeds Cindy Forte, Berkeley Auditor Janet Jurosko, Mayor of Moncks Corner Bill Peagler, Berkeley County Republican Party Chairman Terry Hardesty, Cheryl Fennell representing Senator Tim Scott, Councilman Ken Gunn, Mary Ann Taylor from the Charleston County Republican Women, and many candidates for the fall election.
Officials spoke of their ongoing work and effort in their respected positions.
The Tea was an excellent opportunity for members to network with their elected officials and with one another. Music was provided by the Campos sisters, Melanie and Sarah.
The mission of the Berkeley County Republican Women is in the group’s name; they are a group of women who are dedicated to helping Republican Candidates get elected through recruiting, training, and educating women in the political process.
