Moncks Corner Mayor Bill Peagler will sit down with voters and the Gazette 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, at the Corner Café on Main Street in Moncks Corner for casual conversation and coffee.

It will be the first in a series featuring the county supervisor candidates leading up to the June Republican primary. Moderated by Gazette reporter Lindsay Street, Coffee with the Candidates is a free event intended to let candidates and voters get to know each other — no stump speeches or canned questions.

Peagler kicks off the series. His fellow candidates, incumbent Dan Davis and businessman Jerry Beckley, will be featured in the following weeks at the café.
