Santee Cooper names new VP

The Santee Cooper Board of Directors has named Arnold R. Singleton as vice president of administration, effective May 5.

Singleton is a professional electrical engineer with senior project management experience in industrial, commercial, and residential construction management, including a decade of experience in transmission, substation, and power generation project and personnel management. He is currently a project manager with POWER Engineers Inc., managing ongoing transmission and substation projects with Baltimore Gas & Electric in Maryland and Orlando Utilities Commission in Florida.

Singleton has a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from The Citadel, a master of science in administration and human resources from Central Michigan University, and he is a candidate for a doctor of business administration from the University of Phoenix. He and his wife, Stephanie, have three children.
