Stratford blanks rival in soccer

The Stratford boys soccer team knocked off Goose Creek 7-0 in a Region 7-AAAA soccer match on Tuesday at GCHS.

Yamir Watts and Tristen Ray had two goals each for the Knights. Tyler Tekac, Josh Morris and Kyle Ashbaugh added goals.

Stratford led 5-0 at halftime.

The Knights host West Ashley on Wednesday in a region match.  

The Lady Knights also defeated Goose Creek, winning 2-0.
