Goose Creek Mayor Michael Heitzler declared April 14 as “Lowcountry Student Painters Day” in recognition of the Lowcountry Student Painters for their entrepreneurial spirit.

The City of Goose Creek announced the proclamation earlier this week.

The Lowcountry Student Painters is an opportunity for young students to gain the tools necessary to become America’s next great entrepreneur through the medium of running their won painting company while helping them earn college tuition. The program teaches students to become professional painters and helps to develop a high quality network that serves the Goose Creek community.
