McGaughey

The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit arrested one suspect on March 28 and issued warrants for two others in methamphetamine cases.

Ian McGaughey, 30, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute meth and resisting arrests after deputies allegedly discovered 1.5 gross grams of crystal meth, contained in multiple bags, in his vehicle at a residence located at 114 Ashwood Court near Sangaree Parkway in Summerville, BCSO announced on Sunday.

Bond was set at $170,000 for the two charges.

According to Drug Enforcement Unit Capt. Mike Williams, BCSO issued arrest warrants for two other suspects after finding all the necessary components to manufacture meth inside a residence at 108 Messina St., off South Live Oak Dr. and U.S.-176.

Joseph Kinsey, 27, and Dustin Lane, 26, are being sought on charges of attempting to manufacture methamphetamine.

Anyone with information on these two suspects is asked to call the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office.
