American Red Cross Month

  • Thursday, March 27, 2014

Photo Provided Red Cross Board Member Ray Smith, Goose Creek Mayor Michael Heitzler, and Red Cross Workplace Giving Manager Amberly Abbott. Goose Creek Mayor Michael Heitzler has declared March “American Red Cross Month” in recognition of the outstanding services provided by the Carolina Lowcountry Chapter of the American Red Cross.  The proclamation also recognizes those who contribute to the mission of the Red Cross, through time, money or blood donation. Families and communities depend on the Red Cross in times of need and because it is not a government agency, the Red Cross depends on the support of the American people to continue its humanitarian work.  For more information, visit www.redcross.org.
