Bishop England girls lacrosse kept its perfect season intact Wednesday with a 16-2 home win over Hilton Head.
Taylor Kennington and Elena Bosco both turned in four goals in the first half to help the Lady Bishops to an early 12-0 lead. Katy Bautista broke the shutout with two goals for Hilton Head in the second half. Bishop England answered with four more, including two from Isabel Burnett.
Kennington finished with five goals and an assist, Bosco four goals and four assists, and Burnett scored three goals.
Bishop England (5-0) hosts Wando Friday at 6:30 p.m.
Wando boys lacrosse picked up a 20-5 win over Hilton Head on the road Wednesday.
Tucker Dodson, Andrew Phelan and Sam Weis each scored three goals to lead the Warriors. Hamilton Brower and Graham Hodges both added two, while C.J. Andersen, Carson Horner, Chase Robinson, Creighton Shipman, Jack Davies, James Breen and Anthony Shattuk each scored one.
Wando (4-2) travels to Porter-Gaud Friday to face the Cyclones at 6:30 p.m.
