Three members of the East Coast Track and Field Academy competed in the USA Track and Field Youth Indoor National Championships last weekend in Landover, Md.

Goose Creek High School sophomore Destiny McKnight headlined the group, finishing fifth in the 55-meter hurdles. By placing inside the top six, she earned all-American honors. ECTFA coach Mike Duffy said it was McKnight’s third time being named an all-American.

McKnight, 16, had a time of 8.82 in the 17-18 division.

Stratford High School freshman Danielle Nowlin was 17th in the long jump in the 15-16 age group.

Ky’Anna Webb, a sixth-grader, from North Charleston, was 14th in the 200 meters in the 11-12 division.
