Live Nation Comedy and the Charleston Music Hall are excited to present Anthony Jeselnik on Friday, April 4. Doors open at 7 p.m., show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $29.50 and go on sale Friday, Feb. 21 at 10 a.m.
The Music Hall has been trying to get Jeselnik for a stand-up set as part of their Stand-Up Series since first seeing him on the Comedy Central Roast of Donald Trump. Jeselnik adds bite to a series chock-full of talent, such as; Aziz Ansari, Mike Birbiglia and Jeanne Robertson. Jeselnik is described by Nathan Rabin of A.V. Club as the “Satanic prince of stand-up, a black-hearted joke-slinger with a ferocious and unstoppable will to power.” Needless to say, Anthony Jeselnik will be a hilarious mix of aggression and wit.
With appearances early in his career on Conan, The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Anthony Jeselnik was poised to take the stand-up crown. His kingship was solidified with two successful seasons of his own show, The Jeselnik Offensive, on Comedy Central. His resume is rounded out with an Emmy nomination for his work on A Night of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Concert For Autism Education, and an hour-long special, Caligula, which recieved critical acclaim. Anthony Jeselnik is sure to keep the whole hall laughing when he takes the stage this April.
