Artists invited to NEDA event

  • Thursday, February 27, 2014

To help raise awareness for eating disorders in the Lowcountry, the local National Eating Disorders Association walk committee is hosting “Consumed by Imperfections” on Sept. 6 at the James F. Dean Theater.

From 4 – 7 p.m., the event will feature social awareness pieces by artists, poets and musicians.

The idea for the event is to show the emotions and stages that someone struggling with an eating disorder and their loved ones go through.

NEDA is seeking these artists and other volunteers and participants for the event.
