City’s 3K Shamrock Run and Walk March 15

Lace up your running shoes and put on your St. Patrick’s green for a 3K fun run and walk on Saturday, March 15, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Marguerite H. Brown Municipal Center in Goose Creek.

The Goose Creek Recreation Department is hosting the Second Annual Shamrock Run, which will begin and end behind the Municipal Center. The 3K route is two loops around the Municipal Center and the lake.

The event is open to all runners, walkers and families. Get a group together and make it a fun fitness morning. For added entertainment, dress up in your favorite St. Patrick’s costume. There will be prizes the best costumes.

The entry fee for the Shamrock Run is $18 with a run T-shirt or $10 without a shirt. There will be prizes for the top finishers. The deadline to register is March 1.
