More than 20,000 without power in Berkeley County

The winter storm has brought another round of massive power outages to Berkeley County.

There were more than 20,000 power outages in Berkeley County as of Noon, according to South Carolina Electric & Gas and Berkeley Electric Cooperative.

BEC is reporting that 20,932 of its members are without power in Berkeley County.

SCE&G has more than 3,000 customers without power in Berkeley County. There are 25 incidents causing those outages.

There are more than 28,000 power outages reported in Dorchester County.

There are 325 incidents causing power outages in Dorchester County, according to www.sceg.com.

SCE&G customers with outages in Dorchester County total 28,999. Berkeley Electric Cooperative is reporting that more than 3,000 of its members are without power in Dorchester County.
