The following incidents were obtained from Goose Creek Police Department reports:
• A St. James Avenue chapel employee reported that someone left big pieces of litter on a tract of property the chapel owns off Old Moncks Corner Road near Shannon Park. The complainant said the remnants of a bathroom were dropped in a wooded area just off the road. The debris includes a toilet, old drywall, bathroom tile and other materials.
The trash dump appeared to have been made sometime between Dec. 20 and Jan. 13. There is a 30-foot chain that guards the roadway to the wooded area that can be removed. If a vehicle was in the wooded area it would not be visible during the day or night.
• A $1,000 nail gun was reported stolen from a St. James Avenue location on Jan. 15. The Hilti GC-120 was last seen inside the building where the victim had it. His work crew left for lunch and when they returned the nail gun was missing from the tool box. Several doors leading to the rear of the building were open at the time. DNA swabs were collected and placed into evidence.
• An employee at a Bayboro Circle business reported on Jan. 14 that two metal pieces that go to a circuit breaker box were missing. The breaker box is for an air conditioning unit. The property manager said the theft occurred sometime between Jan. 11 and Jan. 14. The metal is valued at about $1,600. The wires to the air conditioning unit were cut off. An anonymous witness said there are suspicious subjects who walk around the area between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. on most weekends.
