Whole Foods event raises funds for Center for Birds of Prey Jan. 7

The Center for Birds of Prey has been selected as the benefiting nonprofit of Whole Foods Market Five Percent Day at the 923 Houston Northcutt Boulevard location in Mount Pleasant. On Tuesday, Jan. 7th, five percent of the day’s net sales will be donated to the Center for the Birds of Prey.

Funds raised during the Five Percent Day will help injured birds in the Avian Medical Clinic and will broaden the center’s reach with students and educators throughout South Carolina.

Admission includes a guided tour and flight demonstrations. Center hours are Thursday through Saturday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. with tour times at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
