Provided Izabel Schuteker’s creation is one of many featured works.

The Goose Creek High School Art Department is presenting “From a Child’s Hand,” a major art exhibit opening on Dec. 15 from 5:30- 7:30 p.m. in the GCHS Fine Arts Building.

The exhibit includes work from Berkeley Center for the Arts Art students, Goose Creek Primary students, and the Goose Creek Child Development “Little Gators.”

There are going to be over 75 pieces of visual art along with over 20 works of writing written by the BCA Creative Writers.

The high school students received drawings from elementary and day care students, and from those drawings they created their own works of art while staying true to the original drawing.

Parents, students, and art enthusiasts are invited to this free exhibit to witness the collaborative process of children ages 3 to 18 throughout the Goose Creek community.
