A murder suspect is in custody following a deadly shooting at the Moonshine Saloon off Myers Road early Sunday.
The suspect in the case, Shearon Lamar Bennett, 33, was located late Monday night and is in custody, according to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office.
An arrest warrant on a charge of murder had been issued for Bennett, of Cross.
Darrell Bennett, 45, and April Cartin, 41, both of Cross, are being held in the Hill-Finklea Detention Center on $75,000 bond each. They were charged with obstructing justice.
According to Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury, 32-year-old April Infinger, of Goose Creek, was pronounced dead at a local hospital after being struck by a bullet in the back.
Investigators had marked a spot with investigative tape on the side of the building where the fatal bullet apparently entered through a sheet metal wall. An apparent fight involving several people broke out in the parking lot around the time the bullet was fired, according to reports.
On Monday there were several beer bottle caps in the parking lot near a double-door exit.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office or Crimestoppers at 577-1111.
