Goose Creek woman fatally shot

A Goose Creek woman is dead after being shot at a Myers Road bar early Sunday morning.

According to the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office, 32-year-old April Infinger of Goose Creek was pronounced dead at a local hospital after being struck by a bullet in the back.

The shooting occurred at the Moonshine Saloon on Myers Road in Goose Creek, Coroner Bill Salisbury confirmed.

The shooting is being investigated by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office. An autopsy will be conducted Sunday, and more information will be released after the autopsy, Salisbury said.
