Children invited to visit Santa at the Darby Building

Children ages 6 and under and their families are invited to the Old Village on Thursday, Dec. 19 to enjoy the Mount Pleasant Recreation Department’s annual “Visit with Santa.”

The fun will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the G.M. Darby Building, located at 302 Pitt Street in the Old Village neighborhood of Mount Pleasant.

Children will enjoy Christmas music, games, crafts, face painting and, of course, a visit with Santa himself. Bring your cameras to get that special photo with Santa. This event is free of charge.

Camps and classes are offered at various MPRD locations, for various age groups and cater to a variety of interests, from art to sports. For a listing of the Mount Pleasant Recreation Department’s holiday programming, call or visit any of the recreation department’s facilities or www.tompsc.com.
