  • Friday, December 6, 2013

Girl Scout Troop No. 314 will hold a garden party at the Mount Pleasant Land Conservancy’s Butterfly Garden, which will include a ribbon-cutting and dedication ceremony, on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. The garden party is the final piece of the girls’ “Welcome to the Daisy Flower Garden” journey, which they have worked on for the past year. The Butterfly Garden is located on a small tract of land behind the Mount Pleasant Waterworks facility. It is located at 1619 Rifle Range Road on the same land as Marsh View Trail and the town’s dog park. The park is open daily, during daylight hours.
