Goose Creek Police were called to Pointer Drive at about 10:15 p.m. on Nov. 6 after a man crashed a car into a house, apparently on purpose, and fled the scene.

The damage to the house is listed at $11,000, according to a Goose Creek Police Department incident report.

Officers found a red Honda Accord abandoned on the shoulder of Stephanie Drive. The vehicle had extensive front end damage that appeared fresh, according to the report.

An officer attempted to contact the suspect on his cell phone but could not reach him, according to the report. The crashed vehicle was towed.
