Hiner becomes Eagle Scout

Drew Hiner is a junior at Stratford High School. He recently celebrated receiving the rank of Eagle Scout at his ceremony held on Sept. 28 at New Covenant Church of God in North Charleston.

He started his scouting adventure in August 2003 as a Tiger Cub in Cub Scout Pack 458 of Goose Creek.

He continued in Cub Scout’s until he achieved the Arrow of Light in January 2008. He then crossed over to Boy Scout Troop 458 of Goose Creek where he held various positions to include Senior Patrol Leader. He advanced through the ranks to Life Scout where he completed his Eagle Project by doing various projects for the Veterans Villas in North Charleston.
