Dogwood murder suspect captured in California

U.S. Marshals in Lancaster, Calif. have captured Dogwood Park murder suspect Stephon Johnson, according to a statement released by the Goose Creek Police Department on Oct. 24.

The U.S. Marshals Service notified the GCPD of the capture on Oct. 23. Johnson was taken into custody without incident.

Johnson was charged with murder for the shooting death of William Kuhn, who was found deceased in Dogwood Park, off Liberty Hall Road in Goose Creek, on Sept. 18.

Johnson is currently in the custody of authorities in Los Angeles County, California, pending extradition proceedings.
