In the pink
Elizabeth McRae Petersen, co-owner of Boone Hall Plantation and a breast cancer survivor of 11 years, cuts the ribbon with Taffy Tamblyn, Executive Director of the Lowcountry Susan G. Komen Race For the Cure. Boone Hall carved the famous ribbon into the giant eight-acre Race for the Cure Corn Maze. The ribbon portion of the maze was filled with over 120 breast cancer survivors, family members, friends and supporters wearing signature pink colored T-shirts and pink gloves to present a spectacular visual.
