Northwood Academy improved to 2-0 on the season with a come-from-behind 19-10 win over Colleton Prep on Friday.
The Chargers, who defeated Pinewood Prep 22-20 a week earlier, need just one more victory to eclipse their win total from all of last season. They travel to Florence Christian on Friday with a chance to win for the third week in a row.
Against Colleton Prep, the Chargers scored all 19 points in the fourth quarter to win.
Northwood quarterback Will Lloyd was 10 of 19 for 197 yards and a touchdown and also rushed for 37 yards. Andrew Singer hauled in three passes for 115 yards and the touchdown.
Running back Darrett Drayton added a score on the ground and Micah Loudin returned a punt for the other Northwood touchdown.
Junior linebacker Trey Stuckey led the defense with eight tackles followed by linebacker Dalton Kolodziej.
