Goose Creek High School employee Arthur Prioleau was booked into the Hill-Finklea Detention Center Wednesday afternoon and charged with third degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, according to the jail’s website.
His bond was set at $50,000 for the charge. As of 7 p.m. Thursday he was still incarcerated, according to the jail’s website.
Prioleau allegedly touched an underage teen girl on the chest, according to unconfirmed reports. He was arrested by the Hanahan Police Department, according to reports.
A Berkeley County School District statement indicates Prioleau has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
The statement says the district may not disclose other specifics of Prioleau’s employment as investigations regarding personnel matters are protected by privacy rights.
