Berkeley Center for the Arts graduates first class

The Berkeley Center for the Arts and its first graduating class walked the stage on Friday, May 31, at the North Charleston Coliseum. 
The BCA is a rigorous fine arts school-within-a-school program offered at Goose Creek High School. 
Rising ninth graders from around Berkeley County may apply in the areas of Creative Writing, Dance, Drama, Strings, Visual Arts, Voice, Winds and Percussion. The class of 2013 has accumulated nearly $2 million dollars in academic scholarships, and was accepted into a number of elite universities, including Cornell, University of Penn, Berklee College of Music, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), as well as USC, Clemson, College of Charleston, and others. 
For Berkeley County’s rising ninth graders who wish to apply, please contact Goose Creek High School.
