The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit has taken three suspects into custody and expects more arrests in connection with an operational meth lab that was discovered.
Agents acting on a tip found an active meth lab at a residence at 124 Chris Lane, near U.S. 17-A and Farrell Street in Moncks Corner, according to a statement released by the BCSO last week.
Deputies smelled a strong chemical odor and observed a thick white cloud coming from inside the house, according to the BCSO. Agents identified the odor and white smoke as a product of a meth lab.
A search warrant was executed on the residence where agents located an active meth lab in the kitchen, along with methamphetamine components and paraphernalia throughout the house.
Arrested was Bryan Allen Adkins, 26, of 124 Chris Lane; Mathew Benjamin Legette, 32, of 360 Volunteer Lane in Summerville; and Brittney Dane Euthon, 23, of 310 Bayboro Circle in Goose Creek.
All were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine. Agents say more arrests are expected in this case.
