The Berkeley County Republican Women recently held its annual Membership Tea at the historic Moncks Corner Train Depot.
Many elected officials attended the event including Sen. Paul Campbell; Rep. William Crosby; Clerk of Court Mary Brown; Register of Deeds Cindy Forte; Berkeley Auditor Janet Jurosko; Ninth Circuit Solicitor Scarlett Wilson; the mayors of Moncks Corner and Goose Creek, William Peagler and Michael Heitzler; Terry Hardesty, the chairman of the Berkeley County Republican Party; and Cheryl Fennell, representing U.S. Sen. Tim Scott.
The officials spoke of their ongoing work and effort in their respected positions.
The Tea was an excellent opportunity for members to network with elected officials and with one another.
The mission of the Berkeley County Republican Women are dedicated to helping Republican candidates get elected through recruiting, training, and educating women in the political process. The group sent a thank you to Publix in Goose Creek for its donations of the tasty refreshments.
