Army Pvt. Raeford D. Carr has graduated from One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Leonard Wood in Waynesville, Mo., which included basic military training and advanced individual training.
 During basic military training, the trainee received instruction in drill and ceremony, weapons qualification, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army doctrine, history, principles and traditions.
During AIT, the soldier completed the military police specialist course to acquire skills to provide combat area support, conduct battlefield circulation control, area security, prisoner of war operations, civilian internee operations, and law and order operations.  
Carr is the son of Kim and Raeford Carr Jr. of Goose Creek.
 
Donnelly an honor graduate
 
Air Force Airman Shane P. Donnelly graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base at San Antonio, TX.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Donnelly earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of James Donnelly of Hanahan, and a 2012 graduate of Hanahan High School.
 
Dudley returns to U.S.
 
Army Pfc. Jeremy E. Dudley has returned to the U.S. after being deployed overseas at a forward operating base to serve in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Operation Enduring Freedom is the official name given to anti-terrorism military operations involving U.S. troops and allied coalition partners. Active duty and reserve component members from all branches of the U.S. armed forces have been deployed to support the war against global terrorism outside the borders of the United States.  U.S. troops serve in South, Southwest and Central Asia, the Arabian peninsula, the Horn of Africa, islands in the Pacific, and Europe.
Dudley is an airborne infantryman assigned to the 4th Airborne Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. He has served in the military for two years.
He is the son of Cassandra and Jonathan Troxel, both of Ladson. The private first class is a 2010 graduate of Stratford High School.
 
Faye back in U.S.
 
Army Maj. Brian B. Faye has returned to the U.S. after being deployed overseas at a forward operating base to serve in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Faye has served in the military for 13 years and received a Bronze Star medal while deployed to Afghanistan. He is the son of Richard and Saundra Faye of Goose Creek.  His wife, Sally, is the daughter of John and Robbie Fulmer of Ridgeville.
The major is a 1994 graduate of Goose Creek High School. He received a bachelor's degree in 1998 from Clemson University, and a master's degree in 2009 from the University of Arkansas.
 
McClain promoted
 
Navy Seaman Apprentice Cidney D. McClain, granddaughter of Sylvia Hudson of Hanahan, was recently promoted to her current rank upon graduation from recruit training at Recruit Training Command at Great Lakes, Ill.
McClain received the early promotion for outstanding performance during all phases of the training cycle. Training which included classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival, and shipboard and aircraft safety. An emphasis was also placed on physical fitness.
McClain is a 2012 graduate of Jean Ridualt Senior High School of Jacksonville, Fla.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Still is the son of Joe and Kathy Still of Summerville. He is a 2012 graduate of Stratford High School.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Tucker is the son of James and Robin Tucker of Summerville. He is a 2011 graduate of Cane Bay High School, Summerville.
