A Goose Creek man reported a strong-arm robbery at Dennis Park on May 4.
The victim, a 17-year-old male, said that at about 3 p.m. he was in the park inside the Boulder Bluff neighborhood when three unknown suspects drove up in a black vehicle and requested he come to the window, according to a Goose Creek Police Department report.
The victim said he was walking in the 300 block of Anita Drive toward the Circle K. When the victim went to the vehicle window the suspects from the passer side front and rear seat grabbed him by his arm and reached into his right front pocket and removed a $100 bill, according to the report.
The suspects then fled the scene in the vehicle toward Stephanie Drive. The victim provided the vehicle’s tag number and said the suspects were three black males, according to the report.
The vehicle’s owner was identified and the tag came back as a 2010 Chevy Impala registered to an address off Clearwater Drive, off Redbank Road. The responding officer asked Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office deputies to respond to the address, which is in BCSO jurisdiction.
Deputies were unable to make contact with the vehicle or vehicle owner throughout the day. A Be On the Lookout (BOLO) request was sent out to surrounding agencies providing the suspect and vehicle descriptions, according to the report.
