The Lowcountry is known for some good eats, from seafood to grits to BBQ.
But, sometimes pizza takes a back seat as far as the term “delicacy” goes.
We love pizza, and we certainly don’t want anything or anyone to feel left out. So, we’re compiling a pizza roundup for our latest special section due out next month.
Bites and Sites will delve into everything local. From day trips to Bulls Island and an afternoon at the Center for Birds of Prey, to a night at the Joe with the RiverDogs or an evening cheering on our own Charleston Battery professional soccer team, this special section will include all the info on must-see locations and recipes that can only be found in the Lowcountry and more.
Stroll down memory lane with an ice cream cone from Pitt Street Pharmacy or take the pizza round-up challenge.
Plan to spend an afternoon on the water, the Coast Guard Auxiliary can help with a complimentary boat safety inspection and tips on waterway changes to no wake zones.
It’s all local, it’s all fun and it’s all yours.
The Pizza Roundup will not only be a complete guide to some of the best pie in town, but a fun challenge to readers to hit every spot to choose their favorite.
The best pie in town may surprise you and may be just off the beaten path.
The Moultrie News is asking all pizzeria owners who want to be featured to email the name of the restaurant, address, phone number, delivery options, website and pizza specialty to email@example.com.
