Celebrate Mother’s Day on King Street this Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. with 2nd Sunday. King Street will be closed to all vehicular traffic and shops display their wares outdoors.
Spoleto Festival USA will be at 2nd Sunday this month. Look for their tent near George Street, where the Local Honey’s (part of the Spoleto Finale June 9) will play under the Sotille Marquee, there will be ticket specials and tote bags.
The Trident Area Agency on Aging will celebrate Older Americans Month with free goodies, information and a chair from their upcoming Rockathon. Look for their tent at Fulton Street.
Morris Nissan will bring a Nissan NV200 Cargo Van and the all new, all electric Leaf.
Le Creuset is making breakfast in bed for Mom, with strawberry French toast and Good Coffee Company French Press.
Ted’s Butcherblock will make their first 2nd Sunday appearance with a brand new food truck on Lower King Street, just across from where Good Coffee Company will serve freshly roasted and brewed coffee on the street.
Over at the Gibbes Museum, Nathalie Dupree will sign her James Beard Award winning cookbook, The Art of Southern Cooking. Just cut through the Library Society on Lower King to get there.
