Mount Pleasant winners of local Pitch, Hit & Run competition

Mount Pleasant held its own opening local stage of the MLB endorsed Pitch, Hit & Run competition. Champions of each segment advance to the sectional competition round, which is set for May 11 at 10 a.m. at Brinker Field in West Ashley.

The Mount Pleasant winners are as follows.

7/8 boys

All-around champion: Jonathan Gunn (553 points)

-Pitching champion: Jonathan Gunn (225 points)

-Hitting champion: Jacob Johnson (224 points)

-Running champion: Dylan Baker (260 points)

9/10 boys

-All-around champion: Nathan Slesinski (802 points)

-Pitching champion: (Tie) Nathan Slesinski and Langdon Moore (300 points)

-Hitting champion: Nathan Slesinski (282 points)

-Running champion: Michael Petry (390 points)

11/12 boys

-All-around champion: Drayton Green (798 points)

-Pitching champion: John Miller (300 points)

-Hitting champion: Drayton Green (368 points)

-Running champion: Luke Panzarella (350 points)

13/14 boys

-All-around champion: Derek Sireci (1069 points)

-Pitching champion: Derek Sireci (375 points)

-Hitting champion: Evan McIntyre (300 points)

-Running champion: Derek Sireci (410 points)

11/12 girls

-All-around champion: Clarke Brunson (600 points)

-Pitching champion: Clarke Brunson (150 points)

-Hitting champion: Clarke Brunson (140 points)
